Amakira invites Dannyl and Lorkin to his palace a few days after their arrival to Arvice, and proved to be a sociable man. He showed them the palace and his library, where Dannyl was able to find more information for his book. Amakira also showed them a room which used to hold the stone which caused the wastelands, and explained how the Kyralians threatened them with it. When Lorkin is taken by the Traitors, Amakira tells Dannyl about them, and how they are a secret society within the country. He sends Achati to help Dannyl, along with a few others and Uhn, a Duna tribesman. |

As soon as Amakira learned that Lorkin had come back from Sanctuary, he summoned him and Dannyl to the palace. |

After many days, Lorkin still wouldn't tell him anything, and so Amakira dismisses him to the Guild House. Without his knowledge, there is a plan made to get Lorkin sent to the Traitors, in exchange for some knowledge. The plan works, and Achati gives Amakira the information, however by then it is too late. The Traitor army was already moving through the country, killing the Ashaki. When they finally reach Arvice, Achati saves him from an attack, but Amakira decides to kill himself rather than give himself to the Traitors. |
