|Species||Human - Magician|
|Book Origin||The Traitor Spy Trilogy|
Lorandra is from Igra, an unknown land beyond the great northern desert and Lonmar. She learned magic as a young woman and was forced to flee with her newborn son, Skellin. In Kyralia she met a Thief, Faren, who took them in and eventually made Skellin his heir. He taught Skellin crime, while the mother was taught magic.
|Spoilers from "The Ambassador's Mission"|
Lorandra is the magician killing off the Thieves also known as the Thief Hunter. She used a woman called Forlie in order to confuse Sonea and Cery, but she was identified by Anyi and finally captured by Sonea. She was sent to trial at the Guild, where she had a mind read by Kallen. However, she didn't know that black magic could force a mind read, and so resisted, thinking they would not be able to read her mind. She was locked away in the Lookout with her powers blocked.
|Spoilers from "The Rogue"|
Lorandra meets and befriends Lilia in the Lookout and asks her if she can break her mind block. After realising she could, Lorandra tricked her into escaping with the excuse of searching for Naki, and letting her free. Her actual intentions were to take Lila to Skellin, so that she could teach him Black Magic. However, Anyi prevented that from happening, and takes Lilia away.
|Spoilers from "The Traitor Queen"|
With blocked powers, Lorandra serves her son as a bodyguard. After Anyi was kidnapped, she held a knife to her throat, while Skellin learned Black Magic from Lilia. When Lilia kills Skellin, Lorandra cuts Anyi's throat and jumps into the sea, though it is not known if she survived.
